Hi, I’m Jui!

I’ve always been a creative person, engaging in various art forms such as painting and dance. I discovered the power of storytelling while learning Kathak, a traditional Indian dance form. My love for languages drives me to keep learning (I’m currently learning my 6th!) While pursuing my undergraduate degree in English, I became determined to grow as a communicator and leader, and eventually this path brought me to the Masters in Communication Leadership program at the University of Washington.

During my Masters, I developed skills in UX research, visual storytelling and video production. These experiences helped me get an internship as a UX Research Project Manager with PESB (Professional Educators Standards Board), a part of Washington state’s Education Department. I also worked with the City of Seattle as a Video Content Producer. I’m now a Communication Leadership  Alumni Fellow - supporting faculty, providing current students with mentorship and hosting professional development eventsCurrently I am UX Researcher at Sound Generations, a Seattle-based company that supports people on their aging journey through community connections and accessible services. As a UX researcher, my goal is to create a seamless user experience for visitors as they navigate the company’s website, making it as intuitive as possible.
