Kathaa: A Transmedia Storytelling Project

Understanding how to use words and pictures in combination to tell stories is a core competency for communicators in the digital era. This project is for a Visual Storytelling class, applying a solid understanding of the medium of sequential art and visual narrative (aka "comics") to the practical ability to incorporate visual storytelling into traditional, digital, and transmedia projects in a variety of entertainment, business, education, social and journalistic scenarios.

This project is a proposal for a 3 part transmedia story, with a web comic being the primary media.
